7 of 7 people found the following review helpful:  Quality Swing, This review is from: Bright Starts Kashmir Ingenuity Portable Swing (Baby Product) After reading several reviews on different swings, I believe this swing works extremely well and am pleased with my purchase. My child weighs about 13 pounds and the swing starts just fine without an extra push or anything. The swing makes virtually no noise at all, very quiet as it swings back and forth. The music is perfect with soft melodies that aren't annoying. I would have preferred more of a bucket seat style, as my son likes his carseat a lot, but this one cradles and is soft and cushy. It adjusts from a sitting type position to a lying down position easily. My only complaint is the shoulder/waist harness. It has a soft cover over the harness button with velcro attachments, but it is pretty cumbersome to get my child buckled in and then having to adjust the soft cover under and over. This adds a little extra time to get baby in and out of the swing. I can put my son or my niece in the swing (there is a 7 month and 8 pound difference between them) and the swing does not lose any speed during the swing, nor does it swing really fast if I put my lighter son in on the same setting as my heavier niece. The swing also folds away fairly compactly and is easy to carry. The only reason I did not give this swing 5 stars is because of the toy bar. I find it a little difficult to get my son out while the toy bar is attached. It does fold back to make it easier to remove your child but this doesn't seem to really help me. It might just be that I'm doing it wrong but I'm not sure. The included instructions were really well written so the swing took less than 10 minutes to assemble. Great things about this swing include:
1. Portable -- You can easily move this swing from room to room as needed. The swing also folds up really nicely so you can pack it pretty easily in a car trunk without it taking up too much space. 2. Quiet -- The motor is nearly 100% silent and very smooth. The music is nice and not obnoxious like the music from many children's items can be. 3. Battery life -- The battery life on this swing is amazing. We bought this swing 2 months ago, and use it about an hour every day and we still have not yet needed to change the batteries. One gripe I have with this swing ((and the reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5) -- The toy bar, which has a metal frame with little padding, is very low.
