This swing overall is very high quality. The fabric is indeed high quality, cushioned and comfortable. As much or better than many high quality car seats. I do not agree with previous reviewer who stated otherwise. The swing construction, and the mechanism is excellent. It is automatic using positive/negative magnets and has 3 speeds. The height of swing and center of gravity is perfect to safely rest baby in center of dining table, breakfast table, Mommy and Daddy's bed, etc. Much better than taller, wider swings with less portability. We have been told by others whom have had this swing, that it is the best for rocking baby to sleep, and can be used for feeding. Although I would want to experiment to see if I can lock it in place so it doesn't swing when feeding. The downside is the music volume seems a little low but perhaps we just need to adjust it higher. Also once you install the 4 D batteries, the swing which is a bit heavy to start, becomes that much heavier.

I bought this for my fourth child. I have owned everything from the Zen swing to the self propelled and nothing compares with this model. Easily put together, in minutes, the fabric seemed a bit thin when I first touched it but I found it allowed my child to not overheat in the swing when all bundled up, so what at first seemed a tad 'cheap' turned out to be very good. I have had this product for 9 months now and have NO complaints... nothing has broken or malfunctioned, it is still in perfect working order and it still has the first set of batteries I put in it!! SHOCKER! I love it !! Folding it is easy which I did often , easy to clean and transport, son loved it.. wish this was around for the other 3!! those big huge clunkly swings although 'sturdy' took up way too much room and were hell to take anywhere.. this was a breeze!

The swing was obviously opened and then repackaged and had essential parts (screws) missing rendering it in operable. b I wish I could rate the swing, but I cannot because we can't even put it together!
