We got the swing at a baby shower, it wasn't the one I registered for but usually I'm not picky. We put it together and it looked good. When the baby got here we tried it out. Its an ok swing but I wouldn't buy it again. Pros and Cons below.
Pros:
*Reclines to practically flat. My baby loves that position.
*Looks nice
*Seems to do great on battery life
*Has 5 speeds and a timer (you have to use the timer though, cant just set it to go forever)
*Sounds are good and put my baby to sleep
Cons:
*The restraint goes over the shoulders, but does not adjust for height. It has always been uncomfortable to my son, so half of the time I don't even buckle him in
*The tray does not stay snapped down and one kick from baby releases it
*The mobile does not rotate, just hangs there. Kinda boring.
*The infant head pillow only works for a VERY short time. My baby was to tall to use it by 5 weeks.
*The seat isn't all that...Read more
Does not go together right,

This swing is poorly constructed and not worth the trouble. How do other people get this together right? The screws under the seat do not seat completely. We contacted the manufacturer and they sent us a new swing, but the same problem persists. An now the "new" swing does not sit level and has a hole in the seat fabric. Our guess is that this swing was a former return. They had a nice idea of a swing that has a great recline, for newborns, but it has very poor construction.
love it,
