5.0 out of 5 stars Sanity Saver, May 19, 2011

Not all babies like swings, which made me nervous spending as much as I did for this swing, but I could not be happier. With 2 older children, I wanted a swing that was low to the floor, so IF it was knocked over, baby did not have far to fall (thankfully that has not happened). The remote is a nice feature. Baby is 4m old and we are still only using levels 1 and 2 (even if older sister likes to ratchet it up to level 6) to swing. Level One is a little more than a vibrate (fantastic for when baby was a newbie) and Level Two is a sweet swing without being too much. One of my favorite features is the 5-point harness.
The music is slightly annoying -then again, I find all kiddie electronic music to be annoying. Not a fan of the toy attachment, but I did not buy it for that feature either. Swing is light enough to carry from one room to another with one hand -even if the swing is kept "open"

This review is from: Combi Yurikago Swing, Chestnut (Baby Product)
This product assembles fairly easily, and will fold up somewhat for travel.

Pros:
Music selection is really nice, and sounds decent for a baby product.
Six point harness, easy to strap baby in.
Very solid base.

Cons:
On ours, the seat doesn't like staying in the upright position. It needs a little more clamping force, and I'll probably work on it and see if there is a screw or something that I can adjust to fix it.
The top mobile does swing out of the way, although it seems to throw the balance of the swing off too much.

Overall, I would buy this again knowing what I know now. It's a nice product.

3.0 out of 5 stars Combi Yurikago Swing, June 30, 2011
This swing is ok. It was really easy to assemble and I like the size of the swing. We have a really small house and the swing is in between a travel swing and a full sized model. It does fold up well and looks nice. We have the Jade color.

The not so great parts: The toy bar is really uninspiring. My baby never looks at it and we end up clamping other toys to it using links. Not to much trouble really. The music I think is annoying. The remote......yes I thought this feature would be amazing to have, but my baby is six months old and I have yet to use it.. not as cool as I had hoped for...We have already replaced the batteries one time without a lot of use...I think If I were to buy another swing, i would get one that plugs into a wall....

The Kicker...My babysitter tells me that my son absolutely loves her swing, and it puts him right to sleep.....I unfortunately do not have the same luck with this swing. Im not sure if its me or the swing, but anycase a...Read more
