Cosco Beginnings Gentle Motion Swing

i was given this swing just over two months ago, and before the first set of batteries could run out, the motor kicked the bucket. i didn't even use it very much. i have tried to contact the company, and they are not reliable at all. sometimes they don't pick up the phone at all, and the one time that i did get a hold of them, they offered to replace the motor, but sent me another broken one. i cannot tell you how much i hate this swing and how much my opinion of cosco has changed because of this experience. next time i need a baby product, i will buy graco. p.s.-google customer reviews for this swing if you want more proof of how bad this swing is. the motors frequently go bad; i think they need to recall it and are too lazy.

This thing does it's job, and rocks my little one to sleep easily. And it even doubles as a reclining chair for early feedings! The only problem I've had with it is noise. The motor itself is a little loud, and the bars that the set is hanging from knock against the motor casing when it's on the higher settings, making a very loud, distracting noise.

I purchased this swing for my newborn son and have been using it for approximately 3 months. The swing is NOT stable at all. The legs wobble and the swing will sway from side to side. It barely swings at all and has to be on the highest setting to move. And the final straw was today when my son got his finger stuck under the tray. The tray was closed and clipped properly but he was able to get his finger under the clip and get it pinched. This is not a safe swing for babies.
