The swing broke 3 days after purchase. Cheap, weak construction. spend $10 more for something that might last a month or two. Don't buy this as a gift, because the new owner will not be able to return it when it breaks.

I ordered this swing online and by the looks of the picture it looks great! I love the Red or what I thought was red, all the red plastic parts are PINK! I say it again all the red plastic parts are PINK!!! We didnt want to deal with sending it back since we were needing it now. So we lived with the PINK parts, we turned it on and this baby puts out more noise than a Harley Davidson. Its so loud that you can even hear the music playing. The hanging toy or what I would call a choking hazard was broke so we chucked that, finally today when the baby 7 pounds was swining in it, the motor just shut off and I had to give it a jump start to get it to move for another 2 seconds. All I have to say is DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!

I purchased this because all the infant swings were too weak for my baby who is 20 pounds at 8 months. Don't anybody make good swings these days. This one is so cheap it is not as sturdy as the picture makes it. It has plastic that you would find in a dollar store. The recliner is too tough to do. The music is cute.
