Product Review

The gender neutral Cruisin' Motion Soother with green and yellow colors gives baby the soothing ride in the car without having to go anywhere. Cruizride technology creates just the right movement for a true simulation of that all-comforting ride in the car. Baby can play with the 3 fun toys (a rear view mirror, chunky car with spinner ball middle, and clacker keys) or simply relax with the 8 music tracks and nature sounds. 20 minutes of playtime with volume control for mom. The deep seat is inclined for comfort and a head snuggler provides support. The head snuggler can also be removed for machine washing. The toy bar rotates for easy access to baby.

This is a godsend. I love it. My colicky baby seems to have two settings: sleeping and screaming. We get maybe an hour of "pleasant" baby each day. At night, we've resorted to driving around in the car to get him to sleep. I finally searched for a car motion simulator and found this. I bought it this morning, and it's amazing.

In regards to the "non-existent" vibration, it's because the motion wheel is located behind the seat -- and you can't feel it unless you put a little weight in the back of the seat. This does NOT work like a vibrating steel bar bouncer.

The car sounds are like driving in the rain with the wipers on. My baby quieted right down when I put him in this and turned on the vibrations and the car sounds.

I will say that Babies R Us carries it for $69 instead of $89.

This is a pretty good baby seat. My daughter is about 7 months old and it's recommended for 0-6 months, but it still holds her just fine! It's nice and sturdy and SUPER easy to put together-which is greatly appreciated-considering some baby gear takes an engineering degree to figure out!!

This is the neutral one, so it's light green, blue, and orange. The cover comes off completely and is machine washable, however the head pillow and toys do NOT come off at all, which is a bit annoying.

It has a slight motion (which you can sort of see in the video). That is supposed to be the new and different thing about this seat, but it doesn't really bounce that much, so that feature wouldn't entice me to buy this seat over any other out there.

The music is very soothing and the volume allows you to turn it up quite loud. The environmental sounds simulate a car noise, I guess to give the full effect of riding in the car. Overall,...Read more

I was really excited to receive this item as having a cranky baby is something no one wants. Let me just say that this seat is not like riding in a car. It simulates motion but it does not have enough motion to make it feel like a car ride. This will settle a baby if they are not at their fussiest time. A car ride is my last resort to getting a baby to sleep. I am a foster parent and so I get all ages and personalities of children coming into my home. I wish this seat gave off heavier vibrations and maybe moved side to side a little aside from just bouncing up and down. I find that most of the babies I have come into my home enjoy the vibrating bouncy seat over this. The newborns seem to like to but after about 12 weeks, they seem to not care for it anymore. I do not like the fact that you cannot remove the head rest or the toys. How gross to not be able to wash the toys or the headrest where formula and drool fall onto. I don't want to have to wash the entire cover if I...Read more
