Versatile Design Lets Your Baby Rest, Play, and Bounce The Happy Giraffe Bouncer provides your baby with a safe, comfortable place to rest, play, and enjoy the pleasures of physical movement. A fun-filled toy bar keeps your baby entertained with three playful friends, two fun tunes, animal sounds, activities to explore, and rattles, jingles and bells galore to keep the party hoppin'. While strapped in the seat, your baby can kick his legs and bounce up and down, strengthening his leg muscles in preparation for standing and walking.
Colors and Sounds Stimulate Your Baby's Senses With its bright graphics, friendly faces, music, and sounds, the Happy Giraffe Bouncer encourages the healthy development of your baby's visual and auditory skills. At the same time, the design of the toy invites your baby to reach, grasp, bat, and tug, enhancing eye-hand coordination and fine motor skills.
Encourages Independent, Exploratory Play The Happy Giraffe Bouncer inspires your baby to initiate play and interaction on her own, which helps introduce her to the concept of cause and effect. Your baby can pull the lion ring to start the music, bat at the colorful plush hippo, monkey, and lion hanging from above, and hear four sounds when she pulls on the lion's string (one meow, one growl, and two songs).
Designed to Promote Comfort and Security for Your Baby Versatile enough to be a play spot or a rest spot, the Happy Giraffe Bouncer can help amuse your baby when she's ready for some fun, help wind her down after a busy day, or help her drift off into dreamland. Its soft, cushy seat--complete with charming felt mane and cute giraffe ears--supports your baby and encourages relaxation, while its three-point restraint and non-skid feet keep your baby safely in place. To promote rest or sleep, simply remove the toy bar and turn on the calming vibrations.
Easy, Safe Use Provides Peace of Mind for Parents As delightful as the Happy Giraffe Bouncer is for babies, it's also chock full of perks to please moms and dads. The lightweight removable toy bar makes for easy and immediate access to your baby, and the seat pad is machine washable for quick cleanup and sanitization. This bouncer also provides you with a safe, pleasant place to put your baby when you're cooking, cleaning, or taking a moment to relax.

I actually bought this from Target, for about $37. My 2-month-old son is mesmerized for some reason by the mobile on this bouncer. There are four sounds when you pull the lion's string, 1 is a growl, 1 is a meow, and 2 are songs. The growl is hard to hear when the vibration is turned on, and the growl and meow are both too short of duration in my opinion. I would rather it just play four songs. The songs are great, reasonable length and peppy. Overall I am very happy with this, good value. Plus it goes great with our safari theme.

For a bouncy seat, it does the job. However, as a first time Mom there are a few things I would have reconsidered. Our little one is a bit over 5 months old and has been using this since she was first born.
First, the pros to this seat:
1. It's colorful and sturdy.
2. It's lightweight.
3. It vibrates.
4. It's affordable
5. It's washable
Next, the cons:
1. For a newborn/infant - I felt that the head support was only so-so. I added a detachable head support for the first several weeks because our baby's head kept falling to the side.
2. It's absolutely impossible to maneuver your baby into the seat WITH the mobile bar attached without hitting your child in the head/face with the hard molded plastic mobile toys.
3. The seat doesn't play any music - which our baby really would have loved. The middle mobile toy (the lion) rotates between a really wussy purr and a VERY short song. It's a shame the song isn't longer.

TRIPPING HAZARD-all Fisher-Price bouncers I've seen,

You'll notice in the product photo that the legs of Fisher-Price's bouncers are thin, and wider than the seat itself. My husband and I, AND our two-year-old trip over ours CONSTANTLY. You'll see the seat and think you've avoided it, and then you'll catch a foot or a toe on one of the legs. Today I tripped over ours and nearly fell to the ground with my 4-month-old in my arms---any benefit you'll get from a bouncer with these dimensions are NOT worth the constant tripping hazard!
