We're short on space but have a 2 week old who needed some swinging. We got this swing since we had given away the enormous Graco monster that had been our daughter's. When I set up the swing I popped our son into it and he fell asleep within 2 minutes. We set it on its fastest speed, which honestly isn't too shabby. I detect no difference between this one and the fastest speed on the 6 speed Graco we had. This takes 4 C batteries which will be less expensive than the Ds required by the larger swings too. My only complaint is that the tray included on the full size swings would be very handy to have, but otherwise this is a great swing. We never used the music function or the mobile on the full sized swing so those are not missed on this one. It's excellent if you have a tiny house or are on a budget, which is the case with us.

This swing has been a life-saver for us! It's the only way our daughter will fall asleep during the day. She has been very content in this swing and will play until she falls asleep. It was a little too fast for her when she was very little (even on the slowest speed), but was perfect once she was a little bigger. She is now 7 1/2 months and is about to outgrow it because she is getting too active (and too long) for it. The greatest thing about it is that it is so easy to move around the house and to take with you on the road. Definitely recommend it.

Cute swing that saves on space versus it's bigger versions. I like how it's low to the ground as well. Got it for my 2 week old baby. My only concern with it is that I don't notice much difference between the 5 speeds and feel that it is too fast even on the slowest speed. This is why I give it 3 stars vs. 4 as I would love for the slowest speed to go much slower and see a bigger difference between the speed levels. My daughter is not quite 8 pounds yet so maybe it will work better as she grows.
