We got this swing for our baby, and it does not work. I give it one star for the cute fabric. The assembly directions were difficult to undersand, it makes a horrible noise in the motor, and the speed is not consistent. It will almost stop completely or speed up so fast that it scares our little girl. I can't leave her in it without supervising her the whole time. I contacted Graco to ask about the noise and they told me that it usually sounds like an electric can opener or a baby's heartbeat in an ultrasound (neither of which are quiet noises). They offered to send me a replacement motor, which they have yet to do.
Super disappointed, I don't know if any of the other "swing by me" models are any better, but DON'T BUY THIS SWING!!

This swing stopped working after two weeks. We assumed it was the batteries. We were wrong. After replacing the batteries, it continues to only work intermittently - mostly in 30 second to 1 minute increments. Occasionally it will restart at some point (2-10 minutes later), but usually that's all you get. Unfortunately I threw out the packaging because it worked for a short time. So I contacted Graco directly and they will send me a new motor that I can install myself 6-8 weeks from now. Keep in mind, this is a very basic swing, with an underwhelming motor to begin with - it requires a push to get it started at all. Realistically, depending on the baby's weight, it wouldn't be expected to last longer than for a baby of six months in the best of circumstances. If I'm lucky, I'll get 3 months of use for all my trouble. We only bought it because of its portability.
