We were excited to cash in on the "2 in 1" item: Swing and bouncer. While the item works ok, I was disappointed. Our daughter was a preemie and it took until she was 4 months to sit in it properly. Even then, when we pull the bouncy out of the swing and set it on the floor, she's not in a reclining position, rather she's sitting straight up. Not exactly comfortable for a child you want to go to sleep.
Also, we've had some issues with the bouncy's vibrating function. Even with a fresh battery, you have to turn the vibration option on full blast and then turn it to low, otherwise it won't turn on. Sometimes you'll have to do this more than once to get it to work. I've had to change the battery (Size D) in it four times now in four months.
The bouncy works great when it's in the swing! It reclines properly and she loves that.
My advice though: sit your kid in this first if you can before you buy it. Otherwise, go ahead and opt for a swing and bouncy seperately. It's an...Read more
Not as great as I thought,

I thought this would be a great swing because you can plug it in. I found out plugging it in just prolongs the life of the batteries but it does not run just on the plug itself. It is a large enough seat, which comes off and is washable. There are 6 speed settings and nature and music sounds that you can put on a timer. It has a cute elephant mobile that my baby loves. The seat also has a high and low vibration setting. The seat also reclines.

if i could give this 3.5 stars, i think it would be more fitting.
let me start by saying that my son is a few days shy of being 2 months old and was very much a "hold" baby from day one. in the hospital, he would not lay in the normal bassinet-container thing (i am sure there is a more technical term for it). he wanted to be held and cuddled 24/7. we couldnt sleep at night unless he was sleeping on either mine or my husbands chest. so i was hopeful with this swing/bouncer and being able to put my son down for at least a few minutes. unfortunately, he didnt like either, at least not until mommy figured some stuff out. i like that fact that this has 2 different settings foor the vibration. we have now figured out that my son will stay in the swing for quite a while now as long as the swing is set on 4 (setting goes up to 6) and the seat is vibrating on high. this is the only way my son will stay in the seat at all, which is in no way the to blame on the function of the product. i...Read more
