This bouncer does bounce and it is a color that looks pleasing in the home (I mean there are no cartoons printed on it) but I have some problems with the design:
First, there is no padding on the wire frame where the baby's foot strikes it as he kicks. We stuffed potholders under the fabric to pad ours. The quilting stitches in the chair design fooled me: there is no true quilting - no padding sewn to the fabric. The stitching is just for looks.
Secondly, the fabric type was a bad choice. Just as anyone who has shopped for bridesmaids dresses knows that you choose dresses of fabrics that won't show perspiration wetness glaringly as the nervous girls stand in front of a congregation, so knowing that babies are apt to drool, drip a bottle or have a diaper leak, it makes sense to make your product from an appropriate fabric. Some fabrics show they are wet more than others. If they had used, let's say, a chintz fabic, the sheen of the chintz would have allowed...Read more

I bought this bouncer because it was simple and lightweight. Now that I've had it for four months, I think I would have gotten something else instead. But my son does like it still (he's almost 6 months old and weights 17 pounds) and it works pretty well for our house (we have 3 floors and I keep taking it with us as we move around the house with my older son).
So what's good about this bouncer?
It is simple, lightweight, easy to assemble, and not nearly as bulky as most other bouncers.
Now, what is it that I dislike?
1. The straps are awful. Whoever came up with this should feel the need to apologize. They are hard to close-open and very uncomfortable for the baby.
2. Lack of portability. While it is easy to pull apart and back together, this bouncer does not fold, so it is not great if you are looking to take this outside the house.
3. Lack of entertainment. Until my baby was old enough to hold toys in his hands, the only source of...Read more

This chair broke within a few months. The welding snapped at the seat. I'm only glad my baby was not in it at the time. Total junk.
