While it is one of the least expensive bounce/swing items - there's a reason. The "swinging" part is done by YOU - not even with a wind up crank like the old days. It does say "manual side to side motion" in the product description - must have missed that. It is not particularly sturdy - it does seem safe though. Our baby seems to tilt one way or the the other just laying in it if she happens to move just a bit. The music very low on the highest setting. The only sell is that it is one of the few truly "hammock" style set ups out there - I think that's better for a baby's back than a seated swing, etc. Not really worth the $ though.

We knew before purchasing that you had to swing the hammock manually, but we were hoping that it would be a little more portable. You have to take it apart or transport it whole. Otherwise it is pretty much what we expected. The baby likes it.

I ordered this product and then sent it back. It doesn't swing, just vibrate and play music, if that was all you wanted it would be ok. Also, the baby got another one as a gift that far exceeded this one. I thought it was pretty pricey for what you got.
