I had one for my first but we got rid of it when she outgrew it - I cried! The songs are so soothing, your baby can't help but feel cozy and peaceful instead of over stimulated as with other bouncers. I don't believe it's for the best to have bold, abrasive colors and toys in your baby's face when they are so young. Instead, the bears on this were perfect! You can see your baby trying to focus on their little sweet faces and reach to rattle and play with them. It bounces very easily with these types of baby movements so parents don't have to constantly do the bouncing. I do suggest, however, using the little "seat belt" that comes on the chair so that your baby doesn't over excitedly bounce and roll - the back is flat. This review is from: Summer Infant Deluxe Soothing Bouncer (Baby Product) This product had gotten so many bad reviews but I tried it anyway since it was organic fabric and I have several other products from the Nature's Purest line. I actually really like this bouncer. The fabric is so soft and has held up to washing. I have not had the same problem with the bar falling. It is possible others may have installed it backwards. The only cons are that the bears are such neutral colors (easy to remove and change out), the music does not play for long at all, and the bouncer seat is a little flat and doesn't really have head support, which could lead to the baby rolling out as he gets bigger. I bought the Nature's Purest head/body support and put it in the bouncer. Works perfectly! Besides, I don't really see how he could fall out if he is strapped in. I really wanted the organic fabric and it was worth the few cons that I do not feel really detract from the product. This price is right as well. I would buy this again. I still have it, and purchased another one to have at the sitters. I have not had ANY problems with it at all!! Its so nice that it allows the baby to lounge, instead of being scrunched up in a ball.(remember, your baby is going to grow) It allows your baby to bounce very easilly on their own. And it launders nicely! |
