Gorgeous... but baby thinks: not so much.,
February 27, 2007 V. Carlin (London, England) - See all my reviews
I have the one with the logo, it doesn't interfere with the lovely design, it's just a little embroidery. I think this is much more beautiful than the pictures show - chocolate and lilac is really charming, I have the orange one. The design is ingenious - you can play peekaboo in the windows, the recline is so easy and smooth, from sitting right up to lying quite far down.
As far as I can see the problems are: it doesn't bounce very easily, the baby can't do it on her own, she weighs about 14 pounds. And despite the satin harness, it is easy for a baby to slip forward if she isn't quite heavy enough to put all her weight through her bottom. Mine slipped forward until she was about 10 pounds.
Anyway, the big problem is my daughter just doesn't like it. At about 8 weeks, she'd sit there sort of happily and play peekaboo in the window, but she wouldn't stay for long. Now she's 12 weeks she can't stand being left in it at all, she cries. She can't bounce it, the...Read more

Just not useful,

Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
I purchased this seat because it looked comfortable and functional, while at the same time fit in with my decor. After three months of use, I would not recommend this seat. It only has two features going for it: nice design (although I must agree with a previous reviewer who complained about the svan logo in the front. It's really ugly, especially since it's done in bright royal blue),and screened windows on the side which my daughter likes to stare at. It has many many flaws though:
The three way harness/belt which keeps the baby in the seat closes with a button. This button is long and very difficult to thread through the buttonhole. Very inconvenient, especially when trying to remove a crying baby. Which brings me to the second problem.
The canopy is stationary, only the seat can be moved to a more sitting or laying position. Which means, if your baby is young, and mostly in the laying position, they will have more canopy coverage than if they'd be in a...Read more

Baby enjoys this at 4 months old,
February 7, 2008 J. Roenke (Silverdale, WA) - See all my reviews
We got this before he was born. As a newborn he only tolerated a few minutes. Now, at 4 months old he can sit for about a half hour while I make dinner. Pros: has loops that are perfect for hanging toys from links - keeps him entertained and is a great learning opportunity- we hang the toys across between the loops and one above him, 'windows' were good for newborn to stare at, style looks good in home, safe, easy to use, the logo really doesn't bother me- most other products are much worse, cover is good if we are outside in the sun to protect his beautiful skin. Cons: baby can't bounce it himself, not as portable as they advertise, cover/windows decrease baby's view around him. I was worried that I spent too much when he was little and didn't like it as much, now I am VERY happy we have it.
